Republican Senator Endorses Contoversial Ufologist

Senator Jonathon Dauws, a Republican Senator from Utah, has endorsed controversial Ufologist Malcolm Kaen. The senators has called the author of the book, The Deep Space Conspiracy, "a great scientific mind" and said his book, "opened my eyes about the existence of alien life forms. Dauws' aid declined to comment on the senator's words.

Kaen has long been an advocate of the existence of alien life and in his book discusses his hypothesis that alien life forms created the Earth and are using our planet as a petry dish of sorts. He says that we are being observed by the aliens, which he has dubbed the Morakks.

Dauws was re-elected by a razor thin margin in the recent elections, in which he beat Democrat contender Ralph Mafoff with 52% of the popular vote. He was first elected in the 2000 election.
